Originally from a musical family in New Zealand, Ms Carr began her showbiz career In Sydney,Australia during the 60’s and 70’s after completing 12 months at Paddy Maddens Acting academy
she worked her own act and with bands for ten years in Hotels, Leagues and RSL clubs circuit touring NSW, Victoria and Queensland and cruising entertaining on the Fairstar Sitmar Liner with Chris Neale’s Band as well as Kenny Johnstone’s Big Band at Newtown Leagues Club in Sydney.She also helped raise funds at many charity concerts the clubs held.
Her agent at the time was Spin Artist Management Laurie Smith. Sydney.It was not long before she was auditioning amongst hundreds of hopefuls and selected to sing with
groups touring during the Vietnam War. Finally landing the role as resident singer on. AFVNTV show a.k.a. the U.S. Armed Forces Vietnam Television Network, in Saigon.The show was calledNashville Vietnam it had her signing sacks of fan mail from the show which was a great success for the troops. Bill Peach was the Executive Director.
Upon her return to Sydney in the1980’s she took extra parts in the TV series Rush and appeared in newspaper and magazine advertisements. Representation by Freddie Bamberger Agency.
Her singing career saw her entertain in many more countries including Denmark,Singapore,Kuala Lumpur, Japan, Phillipines,Fiji,Tonga, New Zealand, USA on the Danny Morona show in California when Walter Parazaider from the group “Chicago” & members of the Post Raisin Band suggested
she stay in USA. On her return to Australia Ms Carr then opened her own studio to teach inSydney and when John Forrest became ill bought his business in Kings Cross andcombined those
students with her own studio in Five Dock.Sydney.

In 1990 and 1991 Ricci recorded two concerts of standard tunes for NZBC radio whilst in Wellington New Zealand.
From this came the album Moonlight Reflections. At that time Ian Metcalfe CEO of Cranston Catering, in Hamilton asked her to sing for the King & Queen of Denmark and later on King &
Queen of Sweden.
King Records Worldwide released her song The First TIme I saw you on cassette in 68 countries.

At the age of 60 years after a long illness and struggle to stay alive, living alone, she wrote,produced, recorded and sang all her songs with a 27 track production for Ketz ha Yamim (End
Times) which is sung in Hebrew and English.
At 65 years of age she again wrote,produced, recorded and sang a further album called A Covenant Place. This time picked up by Netzari Publishing Canada. Baruch Ben Daniel as
producer www.acovenantplace.com The process of each album took her two years to complete.
Currently her book I can sing but where is my voice? Published by Sid Harta Publishers Melbourne has been released and distributed by Dennis Jones & Assoc September 2016 catalogue.
