Piano lessons

I provide piano lessons for everyone, from beginners to diploma students.
For everyone, from young children to mature adults wanting to pick up a hobby.
Lessons for everyone from those learning just for fun, to students preparing for diploma-level exams.

Music should be fun, it should thrill your senses, music should inspire, music should make you strive to be better. I want to bring back a love and delight in music. I really feel that is missing from our modern experience of playing classical music, particularly.

Every student is different, and every student should have their particular needs met.
Rigour is important, where it is appropriate, but not everyone wants to be a concert pianist! The direction and style of a student's lessons depend largely on what the person wants to do with their music knowledge. Some people want to play the classics, some people want to improvise, some people just want to be able to play whatever they heard off the radio.

I have decades of playing under my belt, and decades of study, steeped in the famous Russia school of piano.
You are in good hands. My entire life, I have been surrounded with music. My babushka would play me Chopin and Rachmaninov while I watched, and I soon took to playing the piano myself. I grew not to just enjoy playing the piano, but to truly love music itself. I want to bring my love of music, and my enjoyment of making music to the world.

I am an experienced pianist, accompanist, piano teacher and composer having more than a decade of experience in music pedagogy for children and adults, from beginners to diploma students.
