As one of the Gold Coast's foremost clarinet performers and educators I have a wide range of experience in making music and teaching within Australia and overseas.

I have worked with students from eight to eighty, privatetly, and in state and private schools.

I pride myself on an open and all-encompassing approach to music education, drawing on performance, practice techniques, ear training, and theory. I develop individual learning plans and goals for each student, based on their aspirations for music.

It is important that playing the clarinet is fun and comfortable, and champion the playing of the clarinet in an ergonomic and relaxing way.

I hold a Bachelor of Music with First Class Honours from the Queensland and Mebourne Conservatoriums, and a Master of Music from the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen in clarinet performance and pedagogy.

As a performer I have been contracted with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, NSW Police Band, Queensland Symphony, and the Danish Radio Symphony Orchestra and Copenhagen Philharmonic.

I charge rates as recommended by the Queensland Music Teachers Association (QMTA) https://www.qmta.org.au/tuition
