A little about myself:

Performing & teaching professionally for 20+ years

LOVE!... & teach all styles of music: Jazz, Classical, Blues, Rock, Funk, Brazilian & Latin, Fusion, Contemporary, Metal, World Music...etc

Guitar (Electric, Acoustic, Nylon String)

Bass including Double Bass & Electric/Fretless

Drums (also Djembe & Cajon)

Keyboards are used throughout my lessons to strengthen harmonic and theoretical concepts, as well as improvisation

Have worked extensively in music locally and overseas, as performer, teacher, composer & session musician.

Currently teaching privately in my own fully-equipped studio. I have both my current WWC (Working with Children Card) and Police Clearances.

I absolutely love teaching, and I enjoy teaching of kids, teens and adults of all levels.

Formal studies include:

• Jazz at WAAPA 1998-2001
• Advanced Performance, Arranging & Composition Studies - Brazil in 2004, 2007 & 2008
• Composition at WAAPA 2011

My career has taken me to US, Canada, Brazil, Peru, Chile, Nicaragua, NZ, Singapore, Hong Kong, Spain, UK, India.
