Robert is a post doctoral early career researcher in Musicology, and has been working in the field of popular music studies at the University of Adelaide.

Rob's Drum Shed is a Drum Set teaching facility and studio designed to educate students in contemporary drumming techniques and using the latest technology.
The Studio is purpose built, with 8 Channel Recording facilities, Video monitoring and full 600 watt PA system.
Robert has completed his Doctorate at the The University of Adelaide’s Elder Conservatorium of Music, and has a Bachelor of Music, First Class Honours Degree in Music Education and Pedagogy.
Robert has directed, performed, educated and toured, presented and performed with ensembles, The Cabra Dominican College Drum Corps till 2018, The Raiders Drum Corps and RDS Drumline currently. As an academic presented papers at ASME XXth conference and MTASA 2016, conducted workshops at WOMAD 2015, performed at The 2015 Cricket World Cup, Australia’s Ultimate Drummers Weekend, ABODA Band Festival, (Open Percussion Section Winner) and FFA Soccer Grand Final. Performing, Studying and Teaching Music is Robert's life's work, passion and vocation, working professionally with my colleagues, peers and students.
Education consists of structured weekly private tuition, (though group technical lessons are available). The website robsdrumshed.com is a Private Music Instruction and Learning course available to registered students, as well as support links for musical products.
