Music Theory Lessons

I am passionate about theory and everything that goes into explaining why great music sounds the way it does!

Besides being inherently fascinating, learning theory provides the foundation of musical literacy requisite for practical performance. Further, it is of course the basic technical underpinnings for any composer.

By combining theory with aural training, the discipline becomes vivid and immediately relevant.

I teach both AMEB (classical) theory and analysis and also Jazz theory.
