Robert van Gend

Robert is a violin and viola teacher. Over the past fifteen years Robert has achieved five Australian Music Examinations Board (AMEB) Diplomas, (2 Licentiate Diplomas and 3 Associate Diplomas). He has taught music lessons for over ten years and his students have been successful in AMEB examinations including diplomas. He also conducts high school orchestras, community orchestras and local choirs.

Robert was a member of the Australian Youth Orchestra for seven years. In 2011 he was a Recitalist at the National Youth Concerto Competition, and he has been awarded the Harmer Memorial Scholarship for Viola three times. He played principal viola in the Penrith Symphony Orchestra and is now playing in the Armidale Symphony Orchestra.
