A little about me…
In 2015 I graduated from The Melbourne Conservatorium of Music with a Bachelor of Music (Honours). I majored in classical singing and completed an honours thesis on the subject ‘Matilda the Musical and the Family Musical Genre’. In 2018 I will begin my studies in speech pathology.
I have been teaching classical voice for over four year; individual lessons, group musical theatre vocal classes and early childhood enrichment classes. I teach from Northcote and at Parkville Music School, Parkville.
I am passionate about teaching children to use their voices correctly, to explore appropriate vocal repertoire and to build confidence in their performance abilities. My students have gained greater confidence not only in their singing but also their school activities, such as public speaking, answering class questions and in their willingness to take part in a group.
My lessons involve classical training, with a focus on classical and musical theatre repertoire, complimented with the development of theory and aural skills. Many of my students have seen success in the completion of AMEB exams, auditions, holiday workshops and concert performances.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if your child is interested in lessons.
