Coming from a musician family, Rose was exposed to music from when she was born. Playing violin since she was a young child, she played at a lot of country fairs, shows and festivals. Taking a break after a bad wrist injury, Rose bounced back. Some time spent hiding away studying music helped her to be a better music teacher. Today Rose works doing various sessional projects, teaching students and working what she calls her “normal” job. She is also busy recording her own album and plays in a community orchestra. She has her WWCC (working with children’s check) and has worked as a teacher before. Rose knows from overcoming her own injury to play again, that nothing is impossible, so students are free to learn in their own ways whilst still getting the technique and foundation needed to play the instrument.
