I have been a music teacher teaching privately since 2014, guiding students through AMEB Horn and Theory of Music exams. I have also successfully helped students achieve multiple music scholarships across the top private girls, boys and co-ed schools across Melbourne, including some students who had only been learning Horn for less than a year.
Examples of my students' success:

  • 2x 75% music scholarships to Haileybury College (prior to working there)
  • 33% music scholarship to Huntingtower School (after student only learning for a year)
  • 50% music scholarship to Ivanhoe Girls' Grammar
  • 50% music scholarship to Kilvington Grammar
  • 50% music scholarship to Caulfield Grammar
  • 25% to Scotch College
  • multiple A+, A, and High Distinctions in multiple different AMEB Theory of Music grades

I have worked as a Music Tutor at Haileybury College since August 2023, and have expanded to all campuses, bringing in more students via the Year 5 program and helping existing brass students with their musical development. In my first 12 months on the job (at all campuses), I've had 10 out of 16 horns successfully sign up for lesson continuation during and as the program comes to an end.
At Haileybury, I am also part of the VCE program, assisting and teaching all brass students who are involved with VCE Music Units 1/2 and 3/4.

Prior to my job at Haileybury, I was a student a multi-scholar student at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, where I received my Bachelors in Music Performance (Honours). Following this, I studied for two years at the Australian National Academy of Music.

Aside from teaching, I am also currently a casual musician with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and Orchestra Victoria, and additionally freelancing with other performances. I have been an artist in MSO programs such as Mahler's Symphony No.2, Star Wars, Back to the Future and their Sidney Myer Music Bowl concerts.
