Rowan Harvey-Martin

Rowan is one of Canberra's most highly respected and dedicated teachers as well as a performer and conductor. She has over 30 years of experience in teaching, performing and conducting. She has a Bachelor of Music Performance with Distinction Canberra School of Music ANU, studied at Eastman School of Music Rochester New York, former Principal 1st Violin Canberra Symphony Orchestra, Symphony Australia Conducting Master Courses, Head of Strings/Orchestras Canberra Girls Grammar School from 2016-2024, Artistic Director of the ACT Youth Orchestra and ANU Symphony Orchestra.
She has been awarded a Churchill Fellowship for study in Austria and the United States and 3 Canberra Critics' Circle awards.
