Sallee started singing when she was seven years old and has never looked back.
Over the last twenty years Sallee has gained an incredible amount of singing knowledge and experience and is passionate about sharing this with the students at Madeline Music.
Over her seven years as a singing student Sallee was lucky enough to be guided by two different vocal coaches, each of which offered a different perspective and approach to singing and performing. These diverse influences enabled Sallee to develop her own unique style as a singer and performer and she now looks forward to helping her students find their own unique voice too. In addition to working with her two wonderful teachers in her early years as a singing student, Sallee has been fortunate enough to receive guidance and mentoring from top national and international recording artists and music industry professionals including Natalie Imbruglia, Robin Gibb of the BeeGees, the Spice Girls’ Melanie Brown, Ronan Keating, Guy Sebastian, Kasey Chambers and James Blunt. As runner-up in the 2010 season of X Factor Australia, Sallee also worked closely with renowned vocal coach Erena Clarke who provided life-changing knowledge and advice that Sallee has used across her career and is excited to share with you.
Sallee loves singing and performs professionally, competitively and locally within her community. At only ten years old Sallee performed for over 20,000 people at the Olympic torch festivities in East Gippsland, and she has since performed at major national and international events including L’oreal Fashion Week, the Australian Film Industry Awards, the much-loved annual lighting of the Melbourne city Christmas tree and was the support act for the Choir Boys on their recent national tour. Sallee is passionate about supporting her local community and has dedicated much of her time to performing the national anthem at ANZAC and Remembrance ceremonies and singing at nursing homes and Lions’ Club community events. At seventeen, in recognition of her contribution to her local community Sallee was named Young Citizen of the Year, of which she is extremely proud.
With this extensive and varied performance experience, Sallee will work hard with her students to help them feel comfortable and confident on stage, establish their unique stage presence and be performance ready. Sallee believes that the confidence, joy and pride gained from growing as an artist has the power to positively influence all other aspects of your life. She truly loves singing and is excited to share her passion, knowledge and experience with aspiring vocalists of all ages at Madeline Music.
