Sam Watts

Sam Watts is a professional electric bassist, with extensive experience as a performing, recording and touring musician. Sam is well educated in music, being a past student of the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School and currently studying a Bachelor of Music degree at Monash University. He has studied and performed with some of Australia’s most highly regarded musicians, and also played at numerous festivals including Port Fairy Folk Festival, Bendigo Blues and Roots Festival and Queenscliff Music Festival to name a few.
Sam is a proficient and versatile bassist, playing many different styles of music. He is able to adapt to each individual students level, from beginner to advanced and of all ages.
The lessons will focus on content that will ensure the student progresses at a steady rate as a bassist, whilst also working on repertoire and music the student enjoys.
Sam can teach students online, from home (Aberfeldie) or travel to surrounding suburbs for an extra cost.
