Guitar Lessons

My focus is on meeting all my students’ individual learning needs and goals. On top of standard instrument tuition, I aim to help inspire and develop their relationships with music in a holistic way, including games, composition, ear training, and other fun activities. I try to encourage learning music from a wide variety of genres, as well as incorporating repertoire that will fit the tastes of each student – for example, music from movies and video games. I try to avoid rigid practise routines and repetitive exercises, especially for beginners, instead focusing on finding joy in playing music, which usually leads to self-motivated practise habits.

I have experience teaching all ages (including under 5’s and adults), and teaching students with special needs and learning disabilities.

Each lesson will follow an individually tailored lesson plan based on the student/parents’ needs and goals, and include a personalised practise plan and progress log.
