Samuel Loomes

Samuel is a diverse pianist, possessing proficient skill in both jazz and classical piano. Samuel has worked extensively as a musical theatre pianist and conductor, having most recently worked on Hamilton the Musical.

He is passionate about accompanying and teaching, and caters individually to students to tailor services to best suit their needs.

Samuel believes in a holistic teaching method, putting emphasis on not only technical ability but also on sight-reading and aural skills as well as general musicianship. He aims to make lessons engaging and entertaining for students, while also achieving maximum results. Through this atmosphere, students become more comfortable and strive to achieve higher levels in their work and studies.

Samuel has accompanied countless performances/exams and recitals and is frequently engaged by universities and institutions as an audition pianist and repetiteur.
