ABOUT ME
I am a pharmacist who has completed their AMEB 8th grade. I have been playing clarinet for 15 years and have been teaching clarinet and base clarinet for the previous 10. During my school years I was a member of the taIented music program, attended state music camps, played with NSSWE and NYSWO, participated in metropolitan band branch solo championships and was involved in Australian Girls Choir. I won second place in the Australian National Band Solo Championships for junior b flat clarinet in Brisbane and attended national and state competitions as a junior A grade and open B grade ensemble first clarinet. More recently I was a member of the Wollongong Conservatorium wind ensemble.
I have had great success with preparing students for AMEB exams with all students achieving B+ and above. I also enjoy teaching ensemble skills through the inclusion of duets in lessons and am focused on fostering a love for music in those not interested in exams with the help of fun pieces to motivate students to become more enthusiastic about their playing.
