Oboe Lessons and Theory Lessons

I completed my Masters in Oboe Performance with Distinction at the Hanns Eisler Musik Hochschule, and currently perform with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra and throughout Australia as a chamber and orchestral Oboist.

I have performed as principal Oboe with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra, Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, New Zealand Symphony Orchestra and Western Australia Symphony Orchestra.

I have extensive teaching experience of all ages both privately and throughout the school and tertiary systems, and was involved in the Junior teaching department at Hanns Eisler Musik Hochschule. I enjoy tailoring individual programs to suit student's unique needs and learning styles.

I teach a strong technical foundation balanced with a student centered and interest based approach. Beyond catering to high exam outcomes and facilitating a high skill level, I am most passionate about creating a holistic learning experience where students gain confidence, resilience, and self expression through acquiring a life long passion and skill.

I love introducing music to a young student for the first time, and helping mature age students connect back to a dormant passion or take the plunge into learning Oboe in adulthood.
