Scott has built his reputation as a soloist, professional accompanist, chamber musician, and piano
teacher. He is currently studying Master of Music (Performance) at Melbourne Conservatorium of
Scott started learning piano at the age of four and obtained a distinction in the highest piano grade when he was 10 years old, where he performed in the association concert. Scott completed his Bachelor of Music (honours) degree at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music in 2015. He was taught by Russian Pianist Igor Machlak throughout his undergraduate degree and is currently learning with Professor Ian Holtham, Head of Piano at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. He has also studied piano duo/duet with the famous Piano duo “Igor Machlak and Olga
Kharitonova” for 3 years. He won the Music Lovers’ Society H.A. Owen Award in 2014 and held the prestigious Phyllis Judd/Therese de Kretser Scholarship for both 2015 and 2016. He frequently performs as a chamber musician in piano trios and piano duo/duet, as well as being an accompanist for AMEB exams and scholarship auditions.
