Sebastian holds a First Class Honours degree from the Elder Conservatorium and a Masters Degree from the Sydney Conservatorium where he was a recipient of the Westheimer Fellowship. He is the recipient of numerous prizes and awards both in Australia and overseas. As a member of the Ash Quartet, he was awarded First Prize in the Chamber music division at Verao Classico 2019 in Lisbon. He has been coached by members of the Emerson, Hagen, Jerusalem, Doric and Goldner Quartets.
