Shane Carpini

I have over 10 years experience on the Drum-set, both playing and teaching all around Sydney.

In addition I have obtained my Advanced Diploma of Contemporary Music, and am currently completing my Bachelor of Music - Contemporary Performance at The Australian Institute of Music majoring in drums, studying under the teachings of several of Australia's leading drum teachers such as: Andrew Gander, Chris Fields, Nick Cecire, Andrew Evans and Dave Plenty.

I have also had experience in teaching drums to both private students and in various schools, including working with children with special needs.

In my previous work, I have worked with people of all ages and abilities. During my teaching experience, I have helped demonstrate skills by introducing students to various styles of music, different techniques, reading sheet music, and performance skills. I am quick to pick up on an individual’s ability, and am able to cater my teaching to their needs.
