Shanthi Soma

Hi, I'm Shanthi. I'm an experienced piano teacher, offering lessons for anyone aged 6 and up. I have been playing piano for over 20 years and have completed all 8 grades of piano practical examinations with the Australia Music Examinations Board (AMEB). I specialize in preparing students for the AMEB examinations for all syllabuses: Piano Comprehensive, Repertoire, Piano for Leisure and well as Theory.

I am happy to teach those who want to sit for AMEB exams (both comprehensive and piano for leisure) or those who want to learn outside the exam structure. My aim is to share my passion for music with my students and the skills that I have learnt in expressing that through the piano.

My rate is $37.50 per 30 minute lesson. I conduct classes at my home in Glenside, 5065. I offer the first lesson free so that new students and their families can get a feel for my teaching style and decide if my lessons are the right fit for them.
