By combining 'best & proven' Piano Method Books together with 'easy-to-understand' Theory Activities, you can be assured of receiving a solid foundation to develop all the music skills needed to provide you with a lifetime of enjoyment.
Choose from the following Piano Courses: -
Young Beginners- (5yrs and up) 40 minute timeslot per week
AMEB Level 1 = Preliminary through to Grade 4 (minimum 40 minute timeslot per week)
AMEB Level 2 - Grades 5 to 7 (minimum 60 minute timeslot per week )
"Accelerated Learning" Course:- (older children starting late and wishing to get ahead sooner have a choice of between 45-60 minute timeslots / minimum timeslot for adults is 60 minutes).
Piano Teacher Development & Training Course - minimum 60 minute session (course material additional).
N.B. All Courses include fundamental Theory Tuition.
All piano lessons are given on my acoustic piano (not my Roland digital piano) and train you in developing the correct acoustic piano technical skills for students wishing to qualify for sitting A.M.E.B. Piano exams. If by reaching grade 1 you still only have a digital piano at home (with weighted keys plus pedals) you would follow my non-examinable graded course (aligns with AMEB Grades), or possibly have the option to sit piano for Leisure syllabus exams up to approx. Grade 2-3 (choosing exam pieces which can be managed on a digital piano e.g. classical exam category requires acoustic piano skills performed).
