Tabla Lessons

It is important to start tabla with private lessons and establish proper technique before graduating to group classes. Depending on venue and evolving schedule, private lessons are available from 15 to 30 minutes.

All students are encouraged to watch other lessons and when they graduate to group classes to stay and participate for as long as possible.

Students who are doing regular practice are encouraged to attend multiple weekly lessons.

• In most locations lessons fees are payable at the beginning of each calendar month. If students plan to be away for some lessons they can pay a casual rate of one-third the monthly rate per lesson. Please enquire for current rates and availability.
