Classical Guitar Lessons

I am a professional classical guitarist passionate about instilling my love for music in others. I have been performing for 20 years, and teaching for 12.

I help students achieve their goals in a relaxed, friendly environment. Whether you're picking up a guitar for the first time, or an experienced performer looking to take your playing to the highest level, I am excited to work with you.

I pride myself on understanding each student's unique learning style, and tailoring a program to give the most rewarding experience possible. Not only do I work with my students during our time together, I help them build a toolkit for lifelong practice that will allow them to effectively teach themselves. The only pre-requisite is a commitment to consistent practice between lessons. Even just 15 minutes a day will deliver remarkable results.

As my student you will learn:

• to confidently read music notation
• correct playing technique
• how to practice efficiently
• a comprehensive understanding of music theory
• to successfully manage nerves and feel confident when performing

Depending on location I can travel to you, or lessons are run from my home in Fairfield. Online tuition is available for those who can't attend in person. Prices include access to me between lessons, and I encourage my students to contact me if they have issues or questions that arise during practice.
