Somesh Putcha

Hello I'm Somesh, a musician and music teacher performing on the drum kit, and muddling through on piano and percussion for fun when I have time.

I've been teaching music since 2019, I love the process of getting to know my students. Making you feel comfortable at the instrument and engaged with the music you like is my goal. I teach all ages and skill levels.

I hold a Bachelor of Music degree from the Victorian College of the Arts, and recently I received an arts grant (from ArtsACT) to study under world renowned drummer Coilin Stranahan in New York City. While I was there I got the chance to learn off a lot of other great musicians and do a bit of playing as well.
