Hello, I am Sonia,
I base my lessons on each individual student and enjoy teaching a range of styles, including classical, jazz, contemporary and improvisation. Some of my students like the structure of working towards AMEB exams, while others enjoy the freedom of learning popular styles or improvisation. Lessons can be 30, 45 and 60 minutes.
I am a year 11 Ravenswood student currently undertaking AMusA on the alto Saxophone. I am an experienced pianist, vocalist, and also specialise in music theory and general knowledge. I have taken the Young Women's Jazz course at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, and am currently a member of many bands, choirs and perform individually too.
