Sophie Radke has been teaching cello students of all ages and abilities for almost ten years. She completed a Masters of Music at the University of Tasmania and previously completed her Bachelor of Music at the Elder Conservatorium of Music.
Sophie performs regularly with the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra. She has performed as principal cellist of the Australian International Symphony Orchestra Institute and the Jan Sedivka Camerata.
As the recipient of the D & MV McDonald Scholarship for Music Performance, Sophie studied in the UK with world-renowned teachers including Louise Hopkins and Rebecca Gilliver. She has also performed in masterclasses with Raphael Wallfisch, Niall Brown, Nicolas Alstraedt, Li-Wei Qin, Uzi Wiesel, Ning Feng and many more.
