Hello!

My name is Sophie, I graduated from St Mary's Anglican Girls' School in 2016. I started learning the violin in 2005 and have obtained my AmusA diploma with a distinction. I also obtained several bursaries and a music scholarship from Methodist Ladies' College (Primary School) and St Mary's Anglican Girls' School (Senior School), respectively. I was also a member of the West Australian Youth Orchestras from 2008-2017 and have recently joined the West Coast Philharmonic Orchestra.

I believe that building a strong technical foundation at the beginning of your/your child's musical journey is very important, and so practising scales and exercises is essential. I am offering to teach using the Suzuki or AMEB books and endeavour to make your learning experience rewarding as well as enjoyable, whether it be learning for leisure or preparing for exams/auditions.
