I have been playing flute for the past 9 years, gaining experience through personal endeavours such as AMEB grades, as well as being part of numerous bands in my school life, and even touring Europe with my high school band program. Having graduated from Hornsby Girls High School, I have studied and passed HSC Music 2 with a Band 6, and alongside achieving the AMEB Associate Diploma (AMusA) and an Encore nomination for HSC performance, I have obtained an advanced level of knowledge in both the theoretical and practical aspects to flute playing.
I have 3 years of experience in flute teaching and am currently taking private lessons, available to players of beginner to intermediate levels. I am on the preferred tutors’ list of the Cherrybrook Public School Band Program, which I was part of as a primary school student.
Playing the flute has been a passion of mine for many years, and being able to teach it gives me great happiness. It is an honour to be able to connect with kids and inspire them to learn valuable skills and become better musicians.
