South West Sydney Orchestras

South West Sydney Orchestras is a not-for-profit organisation that was formed in 1987 with the aim of providing the South-West Sydney community with its own orchestra. SWSO is comprised of a Senior Orchestra and a Training Orchestra. These separate orchestras encompass Primary School Students through to University Students. Our membership also includes some passionate adult musicians who are mentors for the younger members.

FGYO presents it's own concert series comprising three concerts a year within the Macarthur region. Other regular performances include:-

• A Toddler Proms at Campbelltown & Camden
• Fisher’s Ghost Parade;
• Performances at local shopping centres, schools & hospitals;
• School Holiday Workshops (Training Orchestra).

The Orchestra is directed by Maestro David Griffin.
