Private Cello Tuition

Hello! My name is Spycer Morse and I provide private cello lessons for school-aged students of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced players. I have been tutoring since 2021 and hold AMEB Grade 8 Cello and Grade 5 Theory qualifications. I am currently completing my AMusA and have extensive performance experience across solo, orchestral, and chamber music throughout Townsville.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s individual goals, whether preparing for AMEB exams, participating in school ensembles, or learning purely for personal enjoyment. I focus on developing technical skills, musicality, and performance confidence, while also providing guidance in music theory, sight-reading, and repertoire selection. I believe that learning an instrument is a lifelong journey, and it’s important to foster a child’s love of music rather than simply focusing on exams or rigid practice routines. This is why I tailor each lesson to the student’s unique needs, ensuring learning is both engaging and rewarding.
