While many voice teachers today may have extensive training as vocalists themselves, they have rarely been trained to recognise, assess and prescribe to the nuances of an endless variety of voices so they teach at best only what worked for their own voice. Stacey Jane has trained extensively as a voice coach receiving certifications in voice coaching with the Speech Level Singing Orginisation (Level 4) with the guidance of the renowned voice coach Seth Riggs the creator of Speech Level Singing (vocal coach to Michael Jackson, Barbra Streisand, Stevie Wonder). She has studied voice with the master vocal coach Greg Enriquez (Las Vegas). Stacey Jane has also studied voice with Dean Kaelin (IVTOM president), Jeffrey Skouson (Las Vegas), Dave Stroud (LA), Linda Tomkinson (Utah), Wendy Parr (New York), John Henny (LA) and Spencer Welch (Canada).
Stacey Jane has received accreditation as an International voice teacher of mix with the global orginsation IVTOM, and continues to be an active member studying vocal pedagogy and scientific vocal methods with leading voice ENT's, voice coaches and voice specialists.
She received a Bachelor of Music majoring in voice, vocal pedagogy, performance, musicology, song writing and music arrangement. Stacey Jane studied music history under the guidance of Dr Jason Stoessel one of Australia's leading experts on Medieval and Renaissance music. Under the guidance of Dr Eve Klein (Opera Australia) Stacey Jane produced two major written research papers on vocal pedagogy- "The adolescent voice and the application of voice techniques" and "The exploration of underlying health issues in the human voice."
She successfully received a full vocal scholarship to The Mc Donald College of Performing Arts during her high school years. She is also a trained actress in film studies and stage from NIDA Australia and The Actors Studio LA. Her studies continued in dance from Masque International Performing Arts Studios Australia and The Sydney Dance Company.
Signed to two major record labels Castle Records and EMI, Stacey Jane learned her way around the recording studio, song writing, recording and producing music with international song writer's and producers from an early age. She has recorded lead and backing vocals for record labels Sony, Warner Music Australia and Mushroom Records. As an accomplished singer and entertainer she has performed throughout Australia and Internationally, in venues as a lead singer at The Star, The Western, Four Seasons, The Basement, The Shangri La Sydney, The Opera House, RSL Clubs and pubs. Corporate events for BMW, Miss World Australia, Wella International, Starlight Foundation, Ronald Mc Donald House and Variety International.
