Violin and viola lessons

I am an experienced violinist and dedicated educator with an international performance career spanning over two decades. I completed my Masters of Music at the University of Freiburg in Germany and worked for 19 years as a first violinist at the renowned Gewandhaus Orchestra Leipzig. Since relocating to Australia I am performing regularly with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra. My performance background is complemented by a strong interest in teaching. Over the last 20 years I have gained a wealth of experience in teaching privately upper string students of all levels as well as coaching university-level musicians preparing for auditions and performances. My approach is supportive and thoughtful, tailoring each lesson to the student’s individual needs, helping them to develop a strong technical foundation and artistic confidence.
