Stephanie's teaching philosophy focuses on helping students discover a love for playing the cello, a love of listening to music and an enjoyment for playing music with others. She supports these ideas in her lessons by helping students achieve a base of strong technical security and encouraging their musical expression and performance skills.

Stephanie believes learning music is about learning how to listen, how to think creatively and intuitively, learning how to express oneself and connect and work with other people. She has an open and flexible teaching approach which aims to create the most suitable learning environment for each student’s needs.

Stephanie has had experience teaching in different schools in Australia and overseas and can teach in English or German. She has taught students of all ages and levels and has experience preparing students for AMEB exams. Currently she is only offering online lessons.
