I believe that every singer comes to their first lessons with some strengths and weaknesses, regardless of their overall experience and ability. All lessons are tailored to each individual student for maximum enjoyment and improvement, after an initial session where we discuss your aspirations and I hear you sing something you already know. These lessons create a nurturing environment for every student to grow in vocal technique and performance delivery. Beginner-level students of any ability are very welcome - learning to sing is just like learning to swim, with expert instruction.
Singing lessons are centred around pieces in the student's chosen style/s, addressing breathing, body alignment, efficient voicing, musicianship, articulation, resonance and storytelling to develop a technical, believable and touching performance.
