Hello, and a warm welcome to my teaching profile!
My name is Stephanie and I am a flute & music theory specialist with an Associate Diploma, L.T.C.L. (Teachers) Diploma, AmusA.
I believe it is crucial to learn Theory of Music as this forms the basis of any instrument you may choose to learn. It is the foundation of a universal language in music. Having the understanding of Theory skills allows you to learn an instrument of your choice and be able to focus on the technique of that instrument without being hindered by not understanding rhythmic and melodic qualities etc. in the music.
In these lessons I work from the AMEB graded books which have been compiled to cover the requirements of the AMEB Theory/Musicianship syllabus which enables a complete understanding of this subject with plenty of practice exercises to consolidate your knowledge.
I am currently offering online music theory lessons to students Australia-wide and local lessons in Sinnamon Park, QLD.
