Hello, I'm Stephen.

Since 2014, I have taught piano to students of ages from 3 - 70+. I have extensive experience in preparing students from AMEB/TCL exams, as well as non-exam repertoire and styles (pop & jazz are very welcome). I have also tutored composition, specifically for HSC Music, since 2016 and have routinely assisted students in achieving Band 6 results.

At the core of my teaching philosophy is fostering genuine motivation and enjoyment in practicing. This can be a tall order depending on the student, so I am always committed to understanding and outlining their piano growth plans collaboratively. Seeing students exceed their own expectations is profoundly rewarding.
