Stephen holds a Bachelor of Performing Arts in Drama & Musical Theatre from Monash University and has also completed 18 Months Full Time Musical Theatre Training at SHOWFIT
Stephen has been training in voice for over 20 years.
He has worked with some of Australia’s leading teachers, vocal coaches and musical directors, having trained in Contemporary, Musical Theatre and classical singing. He holds a Bachelor of Performing Arts from Monash University and is a graduate of full time musical theatre course, SHOWFIT.
His most recent theatre credits include Roscoe ‘Fatty’ Arbuckle in the Sydney premiere of ‘Mack & Mabel’ (Hayes Theatre Co./ Working Management) and Man 3 in ‘First Date – The Musical’ (Pursued By Bear/ Chapel off Chapel). Further credits include ‘Reporter/Ensemble’ in ‘Floyd Collins’ (Octave Theatre/ Chapel off Chapel), Elephant/Papa/King in ‘The Silver Donkey – Workshop’ (SHOWFIT) and Storyteller in ‘Children of Eden’ (Magnormos).
At the end of 2014, Stephen joined the cast of the Australian production ‘Peppa Pig Live! Treasure Hunt’ (LifeLike Touring) as the Male Swing/ Ensemble. He continued with the show over the next 18 months, travelling to the Philippines, Singapore and Hong Kong, as well as a second Australian tour in 2015. In recent years, Stephen has established himself as an up & coming cabaret and comedy performer. His debut show ‘FAT BOY SLIMM…ER’ played as part of the 2014 Melbourne Fringe Festival (Dir: Sara Grenfell). In March 2016, ‘VALERIOUS’ debuted at Adelaide Fringe and his most recent offering ‘YOUR DIVA NEEDS YOU’ enjoyed a successful Melbourne season to critical acclaim in October 2017. In January 2018, he joined the cast of ‘Grease – The Arena Experience’ in the role of Roger for the Sydney season.
