Stuart Laing

I have recently returned back home from living and working as an opera singer in the UK. Teaching is something that I absolutely love and I want to pass on the more than 20 years experience I’ve had to prospective students. I’ve had over 10 years of experience teaching at primary schools, high schools and music colleges in Australia, London and Leeds. Before making the choice to move back to Perth I was part of the tenor ensemble at Opera North based in Leeds, UK where I sang a number of principles roles with the company as well as chorus. I have prepared students for various exams, auditions and roles. I have an extensive knowledge of the classical repertoire, music theatre and jazz and can teach students to sing in Italian, German, French and Latin.
