Susan Lee piano lessons

A knowledgeable, attentive and enthusiastic teacher with 23 years of experience I have recently moved back to Australia after two decades of living in the UK.

With a Master of music and Bachelor of music specialising in piano performance, I am a well-qualified performer, teacher and accompanist. Highlights include teaching presenter Reggie Yates on BBC One Radio, performing in Melbourne concert hall and Sydney Opera House, coaching students who have achieved distinction for their AMEB and ABRSM exams. Most recently I was the main piano teacher at a leading stage school in London.

I aim to make lessons fun and relaxed, as well as giving students a broad range of musical experiences, not confined to playing only. Listening skills and knowledge of musical genres and history will be encouraged. I have lived and taught in 3 different continents, bringing with me a wealth of cultural and musical experiences.

All ages and levels are welcome. As a professional performer I am capable of teaching the most advanced level, instilling a sound technique being my speciality. I am equally comfortable teaching beginners and intermediate levels. Lessons are conducted in my home studio on a Kawai grand. I am also looking to teach in schools. I look forward to sharing my love of music with you.
