Qualified and experienced teacher.
I have been teaching Flute and Clarinet students for over 20 years both in schools and privately. I prepare students for AMEB exams as well as playing for enjoyment.

I have extensive experience in teaching beginners and I have also successfully taught HSC Music Solo and Group Performance on Flute and Clarinet. Several of my students have been successful in obtaining music scholarships at high school level or are studying music at tertiary level.

I aim to provide a learning environment which fosters a love of music and where students develop skills in the practice and performance of their chosen instrument.

Lessons typically include technique acquisition and development, musicology, performance of a wide range of repertoire from classical to modern and preparation for performance opportunities and exams where applicable including HSC, tertiary and AMEB examinations.
