Taylor is a compelling and multifaceted performer who has returned to Gippsland after graduating with a Bachelor of Musical Theatre from the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University (Now QAEMT).
During her studies, she was thrilled to be cast in performances of Cry-Baby the Musical, The Pajama Game, Working: Localised, Heathers, 42nd Street and The Laramie Project. Whilst fulfilling her studies, Taylor was fortunate to perform on Australia’s professional stages in productions such as Grease, directed by Alister Smith (QPAC/QCGU), The Musical Theatre Gala (Queensland Symphony Orchestra), The National Anthem Vocalist (American Chamber of Commerce) and was part of the workshop for the new Australian musical, directed by James Millar, Once in a Lifetime (Dowling Street Productions). Since graduating, Taylor has continued to hone her craft and was most recently selected as a participant for the prestigious Rob Guest Endowment and starred as Jo March in Ghostlight Theatre’s Little Women.
Taylor has also taken her love for teaching musical theatre to both China and the United States to help young performers discover their passion and cultivate their skills in singing, dancing and acting. Now in Gippsland, she cherishes every opportunity to educate and guide the next generation of performers on their journey in the performing arts.
