Trumpet Lessons/Brass

Hi there, my name is Taylor Randall and i have been playing trumpet since i was 5 years old. I was first taught to play cornet through The Salvation Army, and then played trumpet all through School. I have gone on to study contemporary and jazz trumpet at the Conservatorium of Music UTAS and i have numerous years of band experience, Including; stage bands, jazz bands, fusion, Latin and funk bands, as well as concert bands, and other ensembles. I have played trumpet for multiple productions including; The Wedding Singer, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Addams Family, and Little Shop of Horrors. I have also performed local gigs with bands in the styles of funk and fusion.

I have a real passion for music and brass playing. I believe anyone can have a go, and have success. Trumpet never came naturally to me but with determination i have had a lot of fun and success.

I also teach other brass instruments such as; trombone and euphonium, depending on the students level as trumpet is my main instrument.
