Tebany Carra

I have been playing the piano for the past 17 years and have completed my grade 8 classical piano exam with Trinity College London.

I started competing in the Sunshine Coast Junior Eisteddfod when I was 8 years old and continued to perform there, and accompany other students on voice, woodwind, brass and strings for about 8 years.
I was a member of the Sunshine Coast Youth Orchestra for 5 years, playing clarinet in the Wind Symphony, percussion in the orchestra and keyboard in the Jazz band.
I then joined the Sunshine Coast Symphony Orchestra and played piano and percussion for 2 years with them.

I played keyboard with the QUT Jazz band during my time at university for the 5 years and have grown a love for jazz music and piano improvisation

I now play orchestral percussion and keyboard with the Brisbane Concert Orchestra.

I have also accompanied for musicals such as Oliver and Fiddler on the Roof, the Buderim Male Choir and a law revue.
