I'm a trained operatic singer, but I have sung a number of different genres from Jazz, to Opera, and Experimental music. In addition to performing I have taught voice and piano at various primary and secondary schools in Melbourne and overseas, and conducted numerous community choirs for the past 10 years. I have my Bachelor of Music, Masters of Vocal Performance, and I'm completing my Masters of Teaching. I am particularly passionate about the joy music brings, and aim to equip my students with a solid technical foundation to get the most of their singing - and have fun!
I've taught students from age 5 to 70, with all levels of experience. I have also taught piano, music appreciation, and music theory.
You might love to sing but lack the confidence. Perhaps you sang many years ago and have always wanted to have lessons. Maybe you've been singing a while but can't seem to work out your breath control, or how to project, or how to sing those high notes. You might be preparing for an audition, or you're an actor and you would like to know how to use your voice for accent work. Each lesson is catered to the individual in a safe, inclusive, and fun space.
