Music Therapy

Teresa is a registered music therapist, having completed her Master of Music Therapy at the University of Melbourne. Her background in music therapy provides her with a strong understanding of individual learning styles, child development, and the ways music can support wellbeing, engagement and participation.

For students with additional needs, Teresa can adapt her teaching approach, lesson structure and activities to support individual accessibility, sensory and learning needs, creating a comfortable, inclusive and enjoyable environment for each student.

Teresa also has experience using music to support people living with dementia and working with older adults in aged care settings. Her experience across music therapy and music education allows her to tailor her approach to people of different ages, abilities and needs.
