A very passionate mentor, Thomas Currie teaches singing and music theory, having experience in all ages across genres. Thomas specialises in teaching Musical Theatre and has prepared students for auditions, exams and major theatrical productions as well as having acted as an artist in residence for primary and secondary schools. No matter your interest, your lessons are tailored to fit your needs. Thomas also travels to student's homes and operates over Zoom/Skype should the client wish.
In 2018, Thomas performed and produced two sold out seasons of The Curtain Rises, a cabaret which raised money and awareness to the issues of bullying. Thomas has also appeared on Joy 94.9 and 3AW, Melbourne’s most listened to radio station. Thomas is an Australian Ambassador of the Victoria Police Blue Ribbon Foundation and sings at Government functions such as the Annual Victoria Police Carols by Candlelight.
As of 2020, Thomas will be a graduate of the prestigious Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University, at which he appeared in 'Les Miserables', 'Elegies: A Song Cycle', 'The Drowsy Chaperone' and several other productions.
