Having attained a BMus (Hons Class 1) in Performance from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, and my Masters in Performance and Research, I am currently completing my PhD under full scholarship (the Australian Postgraduate Award). I have 23 years' teaching experience, with students between 4 and 65, across multiple countries.
Having put many students through AMEB, Trinity and ABRSM examinations, I'm familiar with all three (my own diploma qualifications are from Trinity and Guildhall). My aim has always been to maximise students' learning, progress and retention, as well as, equally importantly, instilling a love for music in all its forms. Lessons are entertaining and enjoyable, as well!
Through my music school, HB Music College, students are given the opportunity to perform in the student concerts we conduct throughout each year. Students will also get access to the other teachers within my school, covering piano, violin, cello, clarinet, flute, saxophone, trumpet, guitar, and voice.
Lessons are conducted at my music school in Homebush, within walking distance of both Homebush and Strathfield stations. Lessons within students' homes can be arranged, at an additional cost.
