Nicknamed the “flute ninja”, Timothy Clark (b. April Fools 1997) completed a Bachelor of Music (Honours) at The University of Queensland 2019. Since the age of 9, Timothy commenced his learning experience on the flute and on alto saxophone at 14, while performing in concert bands, choirs, flute choirs, chamber ensembles and as a soloist, including two years in QYO Wind Symphony. He was exquisitely proud to debut his first performance as a director/conductor at The School of Music, leading a flute ensemble undertaking his first student composition titled ‘Allegro in A’ in October 2018. Apart from his love for writing music, he’s gained experience in acting in short films and web series, such as ‘Mia Morris’ Diary’. As he enjoys pop music, Timothy considers his style as classical-electro pop. Timothy wishes to continue his compositional and performing experience, while considering instrumental teaching and tutoring as a full-time career.
