Todd Bebbington

Todd Bebbington is a qualified and experienced teacher of Classical Piano, Contemporary Piano, Organ (Classical and Contemporary styles) Modern Keyboard, and specializes in theory and harmony to advanced levels. Lessons are available from his studio in Cloverdale, Perth WA. He is an Accredited Teaching Member of the West Australian Music Teachers’ Association.

Todd has over 30 years expertise in music education and live performance coaching. He is skilled in Classical Repertoire spanning Baroque to Contemporary, as well as modern genres such as pop and ragtime.
Todd completed his tertiary studies at the Western Australian Conservatorium of Music, and WAAPA, receiving several awards for Excellence in Performance, as well as being the recipient of the prestigious Best Graduating Student Award 1994.
Todd Bebbington is passionate about fostering musical excellence and confidence in students through tailored instruction, performance psychology, employing a nurturing, inclusive teaching approach and is skilled and experienced with students of all ages, from 4yrs+ to adult
For over 30 years Todd has provided instrumental tuition to students in a number of schools, both primary and high, accumulating extensive experience and skill working with students with special needs. Students with various degrees of ADHD, along with many on the autism spectrum have consistently responded positively to Todd’s gentle and patient approach, as he provides individual and tailored tuition to each student.
Private students receive lessons on a Steinway B Grand, with several performance opportunities available throughout the year. Todd coaches and advises students in the areas of Concert Skills and Performance Practices, Stagecraft, and Concert Etiquette.
He has guided students to achieve first-place awards and commendations in many festivals and eisteddfods, as well as several students receiving music scholarships to prestigious institutions such as Guildford Grammar and Trinity College.
Todd has also mentored many students for successful entry into UWA and WAAPA music programs.
